Studios Group Martial Arts offers a variety of off-site training programs. We have full-time instructors available to provide outreach training programs for a variety of different groups. In these programs we go to the students and are designed specifically for certain groups that either require special training or are too far from our location. We provide all the training equipment required.

 

We are able to go to businesses, fitness clubs, senior’s homes, etc. and set up self-defence seminars and training programs for women of all ages and fitness levels. We create specific programs based on the needs and abilities of the women participating. We use all the latest techniques that are the most effective and easiest to learn. We also provide a detailed explanation of the techniques we use, so that all the participants have a good grasp of the theory and use of the techniques. We also provide certification upon completion of these training seminars.

 

We currently have programs with NSD and Bishop Grandin High School in which we teach high schools introductory martial arts.  We explain and teach the basic self-defence aspects of all Taekwondo, Jujitsu, Karate, and Kickboxing. We do absolutely no contact hitting or sparring of any kind in these classes. We hit targets and re-breakable boards only. We want the students to really enjoy themselves and learn at the same time. Students practise in a safe and fun environment to ensure no students ever get hurt. We teach this program to get students interested in martial arts not be intimidated of them. We teach this program so that it blends in smoothly into other P.E units. As such, the education and safety of the students is paramount.

 

We also offer group demo classes for people aged 4 and up. In these classes we teach introductory martial arts and provide some historical information depending on the age of the students. These demo classes provide participants with an excellent introduction to martial arts and the programs we offer at Studios Group Martial Arts.
